JobAuto (“we,” “our,” or “us”) are a job application automation tool consisting of a browser extension and web dashboard that helps users save job listings and autofill application forms using AI technology. Our service consists of three main components:
  • A browser extension with two buttons (save page content and autofill forms)
  • A web dashboard for viewing your saved data
  • AI-powered processing to parse job information and generate form responses

2.1 Personal Information

  • Google Account Data: Name, email address, and profile picture obtained through Google OAuth authentication
  • Authentication Tokens: Access and refresh tokens for maintaining your login session. These tokens are stored in the browser and the browser extension.

2.2 Job Application Data

  • Web Page Content: Job listing content and url from pages where you click “Save to Dashboard” button
  • Form Information: Data you provide for autofilling job application forms via the Dashboard

2.3 Technical Information

  • Browser Data: Extension usage information and error logs
  • IP Address: General location information obtained through your IP address
  • Session Data: Data about your login session and activity timestamps.

3. How We Use Your Information

3.1 Core Functionality

  • Authentication: Google account information is used solely for secure login and account identification
  • Content Processing: Web page content is sent to AI services (OpenAI and Cerebras) to parse and extract job-related information
  • Form Autofill: Your saved information is processed by AI to generate appropriate responses for job application forms
  • Data Display: Processed job data is shown in your personal web dashboard
